Local SEO Services

Local SEO is the work that puts a business in Google's three-result map pack: profile optimization, consistent business information across the web, review flow, and service pages that match what people search. We do it for businesses across the United States and report on call volume rather than a list of rankings. Call (216) 294-2723, or if your listing is suspended, start with reinstatement instead.

Why "what is my ranking" is the wrong question

There is no single local ranking. Google orders local results partly by how far the searcher is from you, so you can hold the top spot for someone two blocks away and not appear at all for someone across town searching the same words. Both results are real. Neither is your ranking.

This is why rank reports flatter agencies and confuse owners. Checked from the right place, almost any business looks like it is winning. What matters is how much of your service area you are visible across, and whether that visibility turns into calls.

Google weighs relevance, distance, and prominence. Distance is fixed. Relevance comes from the profile. Prominence comes from reviews and from the rest of the web referring to you consistently. Everything below is one of those two levers.

What moves local rankings

Roughly in order of impact for most businesses.

  1. Profile relevance

Categories, services, and description decide which searches you are eligible for. This is profile optimization, and it is where most of the early movement comes from.

  2. NAP consistency

Name, address, and phone identical across every directory and data aggregator that carries you. Old addresses and defunct numbers actively confuse the picture.

  3. Review volume and recency

Prominence is driven by reviews more than anything else you control. Recent matters as much as many.

  4. On-page local signals

Service pages that name what you do and where, marked up so Google can read the business details without guessing.

  5. Local links

A chamber of commerce, a sponsored team, a supplier directory. A handful of genuine local links outperform a large pile of bought ones.

  6. Duplicate suppression

Old listings from a previous address or owner split your signals and sometimes outrank the real one. Finding and killing them is unglamorous and effective.

Two tiers

Basic or Advanced

Both are one-off engagements rather than a monthly retainer. Most businesses start with Basic.

Basic — $350

  • Full audit of the profile and your visibility across the service area
  • Profile optimization: categories, services, description, attributes
  • A one-on-one review so you know what changed and why
  • Citation cleanup across the directories that carry you

Advanced — $700

  • Everything in Basic
  • Branded press release distribution
  • Hand-built branded web properties
  • Guest posts on DR 30+ sites

Advanced is the right call when you are competing in a dense market and the profile work alone will not separate you from the businesses next to you.

How it works

How we work

  1. 1

    Audit

Where you currently rank across your service area, what the profile is missing, and where your business information disagrees with itself across the web.

  2. 2

    Fix the profile

Categories and services first because they cap everything else. Changes are spaced out so the listing is not put at risk.

  3. 3

    Clean the citations

Correct the records that matter, suppress duplicates, and remove old addresses still circulating through aggregators.

  4. 4

    Build and report

On-page work, review flow, and local links, reported monthly against calls rather than a list of positions.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

What is local SEO?
The work that gets a business into the three-result map pack and the local results underneath it. It splits into three parts: the Google Business Profile itself, the consistency of your business information across the rest of the web, and the pages on your own site that match local searches.
How long does local SEO take to work?
Profile and citation work can show movement in four to eight weeks. Competitive terms in dense markets take several months. Anyone quoting a fixed timeline for a specific ranking is guessing, because proximity and competitor activity are outside anyone's control.
Can you guarantee a number one ranking?
No, and neither can anyone else. Results reorder by where the searcher is standing, so there is no single position to guarantee. What we report on is call volume and visibility across your service area, which is what actually pays you.
What does local SEO cost?
Two tiers. Basic optimization is $350 and covers the audit, the profile optimization, a one-on-one review with you, and citation work. Advanced is $700 and adds branded press release distribution, hand-built branded web properties, and guest posts on DR 30+ sites. Neither is a monthly retainer.
Do citations still matter?
Consistency does. Having your name, address, and phone number identical everywhere removes doubt about which business is which. Blasting hundreds of low-quality directory listings does nothing and can create duplicates that hurt. It is a cleanup job, not a volume game.
How does this relate to my Google Business Profile?
The profile is the biggest single component. Local SEO is that plus everything supporting it. If the profile is suspended or unoptimized, that gets fixed first, because nothing else works until it is.

Ranking well in one spot and nowhere else?

That is normal and fixable. Local results shift with the searcher's location, so the real question is how much of your service area you cover.
